as well as guest performances in weekly series and outstanding work in the animation, reality, and documentary categories,

were all recognised at two ceremonies. The awards were given out on September 3 and 4. They came before the Primetime Emmys,

RuPaul Charles, who hosts RuPaul's Drag Race, won the Creative Arts Emmy for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Competition Program for the seventh time in a row

This made him the most-awarded black artist in Emmy history, breaking his own record.

Adele, Eminem, Paul McCartney, and Ringo Starr all won their first Emmys at the ceremonies, putting each of them one Tony away from EGOT status.

The Creative Arts Emmys 2022 will be shown on FXX on Saturday, September 10, at 8 p.m. ET/PT. They will then be available to stream on Hulu starting September 11.
