Its main diet is animals like deer wild boar buffalo, goats etc. It likes to be mostly alone in the forest. Tiger’s viewing power is more in the dark.

The tiger has two eyes, two ears, four legs and one tail, The tail of a tiger when it turns while running helps to build its balance.

Tigers can run at a speed of 40 to 65 kilometres per hour but due to heavy body they are tired soon

Tiger is a Wild Animal. it is carnivorous. Tigers are strong and powerful. Tigers occupy the highest level of the ecological pyramid and prey on lower-level organisms. The hind legs are longer than their front legs.

The skull of the tiger is rounded in shape which provides more support for their powerful jaws.

It is most recognisable for its dark vertical stripes on orange-brown fur with a lighter underside.

Black stripes and white areas on the chest, neck, belly and inside of the legs. The tiger has a muscular body with powerful forelimbs, a large head and a tail.

Tigers are found in rain forests, grassland and even mangrove swamps.

The speed of the tiger is 49 to 65 km/hour. Currently, India hosts the largest population of Tigers.

Tiger comes under kingdom Animalia and their family is Felidae. Male tiger weight is between 90 and 300 kg. Females tiger weight is 65 to 167 kg. Male tigers are always big than females.

The tiger mates all year round, but most cubs are born between March and June. The cub’s weight is between 780c to 1600gms. The South China Tiger is considered the rarest tiger in the world.
